On-Site Training

On-Site

In addition to training at our headquarters, Magnetek provides on-site product training at your facility customized to your specific needs. Whether it is practical hands-on training or advanced flux vector theory instruction, our qualified and experienced instructors can cover all topics on any Magnetek Material Handling product. Need training on an IMPULSE®•G+ Series 3 crane control? Not a problem, our instructors have a working knowledge of all current and previous products and drive models.

Although sessions are tailored to your specifications, listed below are typical on-site training class topics. By providing crane drawings, programming downloads, etc. in advance, a detailed explanation of drive operation can be incorporated into your session.

Magnetek also provides on-site training on brakes, radios, and power delivery products, as well as on current and older Electromotive Systems drives, such as the IMPULSE®•G+, IMPULSE®•VG+, IMPULSE®•Si, and IMPULSE®•P3.

Facility/Equipment Requirements

The following items are required in advance for all on-site training sessions:
  • A mailing address where all training materials may be shipped prior to the training session
  • Name, phone number, and email address of the on-site contact
  • Planned start time of the training session
  • List of all required safety training or clearance documents
  • List of any on-site safety and clothing requirements

 The following are required to be available on-site during training sessions:
  • Training room or conference room
  • White board or chalk board
  • Projector for computer
  • 120V AC power source for demonstration units

Please be aware that all training dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and must be confirmed with an approved purchase order 15 working days in advance of the scheduled on-site training session.
