Our Engineered Systems & Solutions Group at Magnetek can provide engineering expertise and innovative control solutions for your overhead material handling system(s). More specifically, we can identify processes that may benefit from automation and design the controls and control devices that will regulate the automated systems. Originally, this specialized group started with three engineers. Today, this department consists of 12 technical experts, each with knowledge in a specialized area and extensive experience in creating and developing automated systems.

To ensure that you are successful in utilizing the capabilities of today's technologies, you need a

Working with the Engineered Systems & Solutions Group
We work in conjunction with your overhead material handling equipment supplier to determine your application requirements. The role of your equipment supplier is to do what it does best — design, build, and service the overhead material handling system. Working with your equipment supplier, we begin each project with a preliminary consultation. Typically, a site assessment follows and the necessary information is gathered to perform a needs analysis.

A proposal is then prepared that identifies solutions and outlines the product mix and configuration recommended for the specific application, as well as the cost for completing the project. Once a solution is chosen, we design the control systems and work with you and your overhead material handling equipment supplier to provide the complete system.
